Realistic Animal Portrait Workshops
I’m currently planning small and personal workshops for anyone interested in learning how to create realistic animal portraits using soft pastels or coloured pencils.
During each workshop, we’ll work step by step on a selected animal subject. I’ll guide you through my process and introduce you to techniques for building layers, choosing colours, creating realistic fur and eyes, and adding those little details that help bring an animal portrait to life.
No previous experience with realistic drawing is required. The workshops are intended to be welcoming to beginners as well as those who already enjoy drawing and would like to explore or develop their skills with these materials.
A Small & Relaxed Setting
Workshops will be kept intentionally small, with just 4–6 participants. This gives me plenty of time to help each person individually, answer questions and allow everyone to work at a comfortable pace.
I’d also love these workshops to feel like a cosy creative get-together rather than simply a class.
We’ll take a break for tea or coffee and something sweet, with time to chat, relax and meet others who share an interest in art and animals.
I’m currently looking for a quiet and welcoming venue where we can work comfortably and without interruptions.

If this sounds like something you would enjoy, you’re very welcome to register your interest below.
Registering your interest is free and non-binding. It helps me understand what kind of workshops people are most interested in and which days and times are likely to work best.
Once a workshop has been planned, you’ll receive further information about the subject, date, location, final price and booking before places are released.
